" Clark! You've got a letter!" A guard announced on the P.A. Another response to my ad on www.writeaprisoner.com, I thought to myself heading to the yard-office. The guard, a cute, blonde woman, handed me my letter, smiling friendly. Accepting it, I politely returned the smile. You never know, I could get lucky. lol
Walking back to my cell, I looked at the return address: Katrina Adams ( Honeycutt). (Unfamiliar with this name? I refer you back to March 02, 2006 entry, titled: Correctional Romance).
It was a short note asking me to contact her. It was void of anything else, such as how she learned my address here. Generally I trash-can this type of note, however, it was KATRINA. A person I would never turn my back on. After all these years and no matter the circumstances , I would still be her knight in shining armor, given the chance. I responded and will await her correspondence. I understand I am risking heartache, but I'm crazy like that. I will always have a place for her in my life, no matter the cost. Hell, if I cannot have her in reality, possibly I have a shot at an awesome fantasy life with her through correspondence. lol. I'll take what I can get...
