Hello! Another message from Sue, the administrator. Shannon is now on Facebook (it seems like the entire world is on Facebook!!) Anyhoo, we're looking to close down the myspace account, so if you are on myspace and have Shannon as a friend, please consider Facebook. Those of you who do have a Facebook account, please add Shannon as a friend. Thanks so much. The blog feed will be imported so you can do a "one stop" shop and comment on Facebook. If you need the e-mail address, write to the blog and I will answer you personally. This blog will continue. Thanks for your loyal readership once again.

I am having trouble finding him in Facebook. I searched for Shannon Clark and Shannon M. Clark.
Please let me know. If you could post a link to his public profile, that might help.
Facebook is great. I am glad that he wants to be on it.
Facebook IS great so long as you don't mind sharing all the comments you make to Shannon's wall to all your friends. It's hard to stay private on Facebook. I'll stick to blogger!
For blogging purposes and ease of posting comments, MySpace and Face are less accessable than Blogger. I don't use any social networking platform for blogging, as you have to be a member to post a comment.
MySpace still has more users than Face, so I'd think twice about closing down your MySpace where you have built up a loyal friend base over the years. Starting from scratch on Face because you've heard some hype on Facebook may not be such a good idea.

I am not a MySpace fan particularly, but do use facebook. I don't think it is a substitute for Blogger but an accessory for it. May help Shannon get some exposure he wants.

Thanks for all the comments. It was Shannon's request to take myspace down, but before I do anything I'll send him these comments. I used "Shannon Michael Clark" on Facebook, and Kathi, it's the yahoo e-mail address, so the name or address should work. Shannon hasn't gotten much activity on myspace in terms of finding pen pals, and I think that's the hope with this.
